A couple years ago I sold an old 2 ton F600 for my mom. I lived in town at the time and was using it on a couple roofing jobs. A few guys showed up, looked at and said they would get back to me. Then a used car dealer showed up, looked at and handed over $1500 cash, I gave him the title and he said to bring it by next week when the roofing job was done. I pulled the sign out and went about shingling. About an hour later I hear the truck fire up and I come running down the ladder (it was set up in the truck bed) to see who was playing around. One of the tire kickers from a couple days ago was in the truck revving the engine. He said he was there to pick it up! I told him it was sold. He got all pissy and told me that it wasn't fair. I told him "Money talks and BS walks, hit the road". He thought just because he looked at it he had first right to it. He even offered more then the $1500 asking price.
