You going to sell tickets to watch your first plowing experience? Let your new pa in law or possibly your new bride give you instructions. We rented land one year from a retired bandmaster. He ordered a new Jubilee with all equipment. They delivered the tractor and plow. He plowed part of the way through on his pasture (no reason, except he had to do it), kind of crooked, lifted the plow and came back to ask Dad how to plow a straight furrow. Dad told him to line up on a tree at the far end, don't take your eyes off it, don't look back cause the plow was going to stay behind him. You guessed it! When he got to the other end, helifted the plow (came up fast, too, the tractor being new) didn't throttle back, didn't hit the brake to turn. When they brought the disc and bush hog, they took his wrecked tractor back to town with them. Good luck and enjoy yourself and let the new kinfolks enjoy themselves at your expense and remember! They will visit the city slicker sometime and you can return their favors.
