We can go through a whole list of multiple disasters in any other colour brand. Deere's stinkers have been so few and limited they stand out and are famous for being outside of the norm. The gas 1010's were fine, the early 2010's were debugged by the later versions. The one piece deck/sleeves were replaced with the 20 series. Deere quickly replaced the design to their credit. Wouldn't hurt if the 4000 series of oversized lawn tractor were replaced with the 55 series of Mannheim tractor from 10+ years ago.
What brand is still around besides Deere anyways that hasn't been sold and flipped a few times? Many companies don't stand behind older equipment at all while Deere does.
When my local dealers are quick to please and head office eager to listen. I have to wonder if your loud and abrasive rant at the dealer and local branch office turned them off. Most people including myself will usually go out of my way "tick off" someone who is coming at me all worked up in a frenzy.
