When new, it should hold up for a while, but will slowly leak down - 3point seals on the internal cylinder aren't perfect. When old, they leak down a lot faster. More weight on the 3point makes them drop quicker. If it leaks down quickly without anything on the 3-point, you might want to dig into it - it's leaking past the seals pretty fast then, & making your hydraulics work to keep it up. (I've got a big TW20 Ford that doesn't leak down even with a ton on the 3point - surprised me! All the rest of mine do to various degrees :) --->Paul
