See my post above about this suject - t bone is right about hot shot's - DOT is getting real hot on them. It's the old story, a few made trouble for the majority or at least that what some of them say. Owning my own rig (SEMI) I see alot of them that seem to be overloaded, not a safe thing. As weel they were not covered under hours of serive so they could drive all day an all night, again not a safe thing. The other part of the story was that they didn't need a CDL to drive a hot-shoot so the DOT in some states not all have fixed that :o) My my heart feel warm all over that they now have to have a CDL to drive on as well as fall under hours of service. Now if we could only get the DOT to put some reg's on motor homes an fifth wheel campers that as bigh as a semi I'd be a happy, happy, happy owner operator/driver :o)
