Hi please help me. so I am in Solvania getting ready to go on a bike caravane to greece . With us we are hauling a wagen with an old Hurliman tractor I think around a 87 with turbo. No one I am with knows about this tractor that speaks english and I need a crash course in Hurliman or basic tractor manitence and basic repair for an old but beautiful tractor. We drove with it all the way from Zurich to here in Lubjiana solvania and it did really well but we have had some problems. First we are driping what I think is gear oil from the transmission . I know a decent amount about working on cars but tractors are a little it different you know. I think it is excess oil that the preiviose owner had in there coming out because that is the way it appears. I cant get the check plug loose but from the fill plug I measured the oil and it appears to be the same level as the line of the check plug hole . But the oil seemed a bit froothy. this is after driving about 800km or 500 miles through the swiss and austrian alps on sometimes very bumpy dirt roads but I assume this still meens either desil or water is some how getting into the transmission is this a really big problem. I intend on tommorow changing the engine oil and pumping out the transmission fluid and putting new in. What kind of gear oils is best to use. It smells and looks diffrent from the engine oil so I assume it is a completly diffrent oil so what kind should I get. This is a hard situation to be in beacuse first I am in solvania and second everyone who knows some things about tractors speaks german and unfortunetly there is no book that translates german to english or for that fact slovic words for tractor parts. so I need help in english. My email is zureichinfo at yahoo.de or you can email me at my home email of purpleblue62 at hotmail.com I am sorry about the (at) thing but there is no key on this keyboard for that sighn. Well I hope some one can help me this is my last hope. Thanks and I hope to vbe hearing from some one. Liz

Show Coverage: Journey to Ankeny - by Cindy Ladage. We left Illinois on the first day of July and headed north and west for Ankeny, Iowa. Minus two kids, we traveled light with only the youngest in tow. As long as a pool was at the end of our destination she was easy to please unlike the other two who have a multitude of requirements to travel with mom and dad. Amana Colonies served as a respite where we ate a family style lunch that sustained us with more food than could reasonably fit into our ample physiques. The show at Ankeny
