I owned a small motor home for 10 years and drove it all over the US. Mine was only 23' long and would almost fit in a standard supermarket parking space. Still it was enough different that a little training would have been very helpful at first. Of course after 10 years you kind of figure out some things, like those yellow cautionary speed limit signs on curves are there for a purpose! And you can't make a right turn from 1' away from the curb and not run over some pedestrian's foot. I cannot imagine the white knuckles that must result from trying to guide one of those tour bus size motorhomes down a busy freeway or even a twisty 2 lane blacktop.....especially after the age when most of your reflexes and vision have seen better days.
