Are any of you purchasing bagged lime? I was quoted a price of $103.20/ton in 50# bags for pulverized dolomitic limstone with an ENV of 88 when purchased in 1-ton and greater quantities, picked up. This seems kind of high compared to just 1-2 years ago in the Northeast, they are blaming it on high fuel/energy costs. Isn't a lot of this material mined in PA and MA? Also, I can walk into Home Depot and buy a 40# bag of granular lime, ENV=76 for $1.99($99.50/ton), and that's buying 1 bag at a time not 10+ tons. Any other experience?
