Never had a problem with gas up to a year old if it is in a dark container so direct sunlight cannot get at it. I had one experience that made me a believer in a dark container for gas if it is likley to be exposed to sunlight. Had a situstion where our bulk gasoline tank had run dry and we really had to run a little 3 hp Briggs pump engine. I remembered a gallon jug of gas I had filled aprox 3 months earlier, problem was that it had set outside in a clear plastic jug all that time. I filled the little Briggs and it did fine for the first load. When I tried to start it to pump the second load the intake valve was stuck open and would not start. I removed the head and with wd40 and a little tapping the valve freed up. Put the head back on and pumped another load of water. When time came to pump the third load the intake valve was stuck again and the slide choke valve in the carb was also stuck. This was when we connected this old sunbaked gas with the stuck parts. replaced the gas with gas drained from another machine, and had no more problems. It seems direct sunlight will turn the stuff into super glue. Our local bulk fuel dealer has to submit samples from his tanks for testing and is instructed never to use a clear container as sunlight causes rapid chemical changes in gasoline.

It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
