I might suggest taking I-80 west to Indiana I-69 south-then south to Fort Wayne and take the SE I-469 bypass down to Indiana 27-go south thru Decatur, Berne, and Bryant to Portland- Show grounds this year are on the club ground, adjacent to the Jay County fairgrounds (east).
Flyer says $4/per day-
I'd bring a poncho, hip waders, snorkel & fins.
