Look for 2 mega-pixels and a slot for a SD memory stick. Lots of choices under $300 (very competitive). The 64MB SD sticks are very cheap now. I bought a HP Photosmart 620 for under $200 which will also take short video clips. With the HP (and most others also - I think) you also get some web space, which is handy for sharing pics with family/friends and for posting on web sites like this or auction sites. You may want to do a web search on camera reviews. I've seen some good reviews on-line. My camera was not the top rated in those reviews, but I'm still very happy with it. Happy shopping
