I assume you are talking about the MF 231S. If so I had one for about a year. It was a tough little tractor - well built, strong, dependable and easy on fuel. It was also loud (Perkins engine) and uncomfortable. The transmission hump comes up high between your legs and it's like getting on and off a horse. Ok 20 years ago - not Ok now. Like Burrhead said, the clutch is a bugger too and you have to stand on the dry brakes pretty hard to stop it. I don't have any personal knowledge about the Mahindra but I would sure look at them close for what you get for the money. As far as parts, the 231S is made in Turkey - not sure if you can depend on the Massey name to guarantee parts anymore either. Good Luck! JT
