The F162 you speak of is on the side of the engine correct? The F162 is a Continental flathead 4 cylinder of 162 cubic inches. They came out earlier in 124 and 140 cubic inch versions of the same engine. I think the fellow below is right with it possibly being a Long ... they had what appeared to be Farmall sheet metal and also had the F162 engine. The rear tranny/differential/wheels were identical to the Cockshutt 30 I believe. They were made in Tarboro, North Carolina from 1951-52. I think they (Long model A) were sort of a "jobber" tractor where a tractor was made and assembled using outside vendor parts. I think they were red with green wheels/rims.
