The old 560 Farmall has brake problems as well...except that when you touch the brakes, you better be careful. When they grab, they GRAB RIGHT NOW!. At road speed, they will lock up (at least the left one does) and can really jerk you around. I'm always careful, and don't let anybody else drive it anyway. Last year, I tore it all apart (as the loader was off at the time anyway) and cleaned and lubed everything. Turns out it didn't improve anything, but is probably due to the fact that the drum housing is cracked on that side. I just live (very carefully) with it now...
