hi Paul and Rob are on the right track. had the same problem with my 620. replaced the diapram iin the automatic shut located in the sediment bulb and also the needle and seat in the carburator. also check the manuel knob in the top of the sediment bulb. if the knurled knob isnt tightened down when not in use it can bind up and keep the shut off open and fluid the engine when tractor is not in use. good luck
