Andy, it could be any one of our several excellent museums. Pioneer Village in Minden is the one that immediately comes to mind. There is a working blacksmith shop, general store and so on there. It has building after building of old cars, tractors, aircraft, household items and pretty much everything else you could ever imagine. There's even one of if not the only surviving replicas of Lindbergs "Spirit of St. Louis" on display. I also seem to recall a steam-powered carousel operating on the grounds. If you decide to go, plan on spending an entire day, because there is literally that much to see, and you still may not see it all. The Stuhr Museum in Grand Island is also an excellent one to see. It's been close to 20 years or so since I visited either, but I'm sure they're every bit as good or better than they were then. Feel free to email me if I can be of any more help with your trip to the Cornhusker State. I'm a native Nebraskan, have lived in several different areas of the state, and wouldn't think of living anywhere else
