Your question is a little confusing. If your talking about installing a live hydraulic pump behind the distributor, then you can use a one or two way valve, depending upon what you want your hydraulics to do. When you mention using the "internal valve", I'm guessing you mean the valve in the a Lift-all pump mounted in the belly of your tractor. If that is the case it would involve a lot more plumbing than needed in order to run from the live pump to the Lift-all pump, and then to your ram. And then you would only have a one-way valve. My suggestion is to just go from the live hydraulic pump to an aftermarket valve, and then to your ram. A lot easier and simpler. Hope this helps. Fred KS
