Terry - If the 2 guys were truthful, they should have closely examined the model beforehand and given you a more detailed account of the thing, especially if you are the one going to all the trouble to make the purchase. Yes - you should get the other engine yourself, but could the whole thing be bought for a decent price? Definitely do not assume any extra effort from the sellers to help you in getting this motor. If possible I would take a friend along and tools needed for the job to your satisfaction. Sounds like the brothers lack "people or communication skills".

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
