A friend had one back in the 70's, we tried to use it in the hayfields pulling a crimper and the hay rake. It was a pain in the neck to try to keep an even speed with the foot throttle and it didn't have enough gears (compared to a tractor) to find the right combination of ground speed and pto speed. Also, it sat too low to the ground for hay operations. After fighting it for two days we gave up, it was more bother than it was worth. It had the PTO but didn't have the 3 point hitch.
