I've rotavated all day at pto speed and i "don't" consider it one bit of abuse!! I never throttled back at all, as you don't need to in bigger fields when rotavateing. If "your" tractor can't take that, trade it for one that will. I traded off my last "primary use" tractor with over 7000 hours on it, and other than valve ajustments and maintance it started and ran like new. It NEVER needed one bit of engine or pump work in those 7000 hours either!! BTW, it was a Deutz. When i was a kid, i plowed from 6am to 6pm with a 504 Farmall gas. If you throttled back you were chewed out by the farmer, second offence got you fired!! He always said "that's what the TA is for!!!!!" He felt the same way when i was on his 560 diesel too. All for a buck an hour, and i was glad to get it!! The Agco's i have today are treated the same way with out complaint! Robert
