No, no. Not wide open, I run at about 1600 rpm's in a non-turbo and 1700 in a turbo charged tractor. All being Case 70 series which are partial powershift, at the headlands I downshift turn and powershift when straight. Never throttling back. And this is not abused equipment, obviously since it is Case and they quit making them in the mid 80's. The 70 series were made in 71 and ended in 77 or 78. This is what tractors were made for, to work hard and start up and want more the next day.
