Hi Ray, Several years ago, when I noticed no mention of fish oil on my latest can of Rustoleum's rusty metal primer, I called them. They said it was still in there, just not listed. I suggested that people like me want to know it's there because I'm under the impression it's the fish oil that makes it work so well. I always have a gallon around. Seems to be the same stuff I've been buying for years. As for other paint brands sticking, I've had no problem. I'm not particularly impressed with Rustoleum paint longevity, so I've used other brands. To date, the only paint that I find holding up really well outside is automotive paint. No great surprise there. Cost is high, but not lifetime cost. That's cheaper. How long are you going to keep it (the tractor or whatever) and how much do you enjoy the painting process?
