Trevor is right in the aspect that you will receive a lot of Brand loyal answers to your question. But I am going to break away from that mold for just a little bit. If you are only mowing about 3 acres, without much in the way of obstacles, then I agree that a Farmall Cub, or perhaps a Farmall "A" would do u nicely. An "A" is a larger tractor than the Cub, and would provide more power. They're easy to own and operate, and, when restored, makes a nice show piece, or parade ride. Parts are relatively easy to come by, and there are LOTS of collectors on this site to assist you with questions during your restoration. (By the way, I'm recommending a Farmall, and I'm a Case collector.)
