Color is mostly a preferance. All tractors work when they work(that's what I meant to say, just think about it). Some are better at some things than others. My love is green and white(Oliver). Grew up with 'em, respect 'em (they drove much of the advances and innovations in tractors, before White took over.) Currently have red and silver(Massey 1135), good tractor, but not what I'm comfortable with. Had gray and red (Ford 961). All right for extra tractor for pulling wagons and lighter work(planting, manure, etc...), Hated for tillage, though. My place is small right now, therefore don't currently need something as big as Massey, Ford was right size but couldn't do what my Oliver 70's and 88's could do when I had them(as far as tillage).
