Intellectual property rights are sticky. We get mad when China steals our technology (remember "don't copy that floppy" in the computer industry). Monsanto did spend big bucks and many years doing the research. They do deserves to be able to sell it's product for more than two years before all the farmers "save" the seeds. I do feel however that the goverment should get the same percent of the profit that they gave in research dollors. Just like any investment company would get. It would help reduce our taxes. Bottom line, if you want to save the seeds, buy the older "more natural" products.
