I went up on the roof and after getting the job done I started to work my way to the ladder. Then I started sliding fast went over the top of the ladder fell 9 ft after picking up speed when I hit the ground I broke my Calcanious bone in my left heal and cracked a couple of other smaller bones in the same foot. Realy hurt and I was in a cast for 3 months and a removable one for 3 months. It took allmost a year for it to heal good but it still gives me a little pain 2 years later. They wanted to pin it but I would not let them. It healed in 1/2 the time they said it would too. I get real nervose working on ladders now and I have done it all my life in construction. Mark H.
