Raised on a Dairy until I joined the army in '69. Dreamed of owning and running a 100+ head of milk cows. In the early 70's that dream became impossible. Moved to Houston area and got into the oil industry. Worked in refining for 23 years. Changed employer in '97. Last 6 years, office work in deepwater exploration and production (3/4 mile deep and deeper Gulf of Mexico waters). Time right now is not good for employees in any area of oil. For the last month, searching for my next job. Getting laid off in late August. Restoration of my 3 tractors take up a lot of my "to burn" money. Cutting back until better days. God has a plan and I know it will be good again. Just have to keep the faith. --JPM
