I own a Yamaha 660 Grizzly. Which essentially is a small Jeep. IN ATV's, there are two designations. Sport Quad, and Utility Quad. Sport quads are top end, performance machines. Utility Quads are for off roading, technical trail, and work use machines. My Yamaha is 4wd, 4whl independant suspension. With 27in tires on it, I can go places my Jeep couldnt go. I like technical trail riding, not banzaing around too fast on trails. My avg speed is probably 7mph. The accidents I see are people going too fast. A crowd of riders seems to prefer how fast they can run a trail. Now there is another contigent of riders that wish to see how fast, or how they can jump, or how long they can wheelie. I'll hold my comments on this particular group, but suffice to say the term donor cycle also comes to mind... :)
