I have a 2003 Sportsman 500, and I have Liability insurance $43 per year. Theft/Collision insurance increased the premium to almost $500 per year. I live in central New York and ride around here and in upstate NY. Liability insurance and a helmet are mandatory along with a state registration (license plate) if you do any riding on state land, or land that you do not own. Your insurance sounds like a great deal compared to the rates I was able to find. Polaris offers insurance, but I think you will find it more expensivew than $200.
