I have a 95 ext cab Chevy 1/2 ton 4wd with the 350 and auto tranny, also has a set of headers and dual exhaust to help with mileage and heat build up. I can put our skidsteer on the trailer and pull just fine. Has enough power and with the trailer brakes stops just fine. The skidsteer weighs in at just over 6000 lbs. Of course a 3/4 ton would be more stable but I don't pull that much. Have been looking for a Diesel but talk about hard to come by!
