Hi willy, Well I have to agree as I'm not a mfg test pig for no mfg. If the drivetrain hasn't been time proved for 4 yrs, I don't buy. With that in mind I bought a new 2002 F350, 7.3 PSD, 4wd, DRW, CC, 6spd, lwb, in Sept 2001 and been very pleased with the truck. I consistantly get 19.2mpg pulling empty or 28kGCW (short haul loads) and it just don't run out of power. Towing only is 15.5mpg with a 16kGCW load. From a regular cab F250 to the above spec'd truck was 7% cost difference. When your spending $31k another $3k is not that much. The CC and DRW option is well worth the cost! T_Bone
