I have a vehicle listed for sale on an automobile classified ad site(note to moderator: this post is not an ad). I received an e-mail today that said the following: "HELLO, WE HAVE A CLIENT INTRESTED IN BUYING YOUR (vehicle year, make, and model) I WILL NEED YOU TO PROVIDE ME WITH THE COST. THE SHIPPING TO SOUTH-WEST LONDON(ENGLAND) WILL BE HIS RESPONSIBILITY. PLEASE RESPOND ASAP. DAN FOSTER" This smells like those African deals that want someone to ship a tractor over there. The e-mail address doesn't look fake. Given the fact that I've had little interest from potential buyers, I'm not sure what to make of it; my first inclination is that it is a scam. I'd think that if someone overseas was serious about buying it, they'd do the planning and customs work on getting it over there, not me - after all, they'd be the ones paying for it. What do you think? Should I reply to it? If I did, I'd tell them that doing the shipping legwork is their responsibility, not mine. I should add that the e-mail makes no mention of a company representing the buyer or a contact phone number. Opinions?

Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
