I think your husband is looking at overkill. A 60 hp tractor will suit your needs much better. bigger isn't always better. I farm 100 acres and put up hay on 1000 more and my biggest tractor is a farmall 656. A little Allis WD gets a lot of use on light work as well as a Ferguson 20. Look at any of the smaller utility tractors. you will want 3 point hitch. The Fords and Fergusons are easy to find repairs for.
