This really isn't on topic with this post but just a heads up on chebby truck factory trailering package plug-in harness for the brake controller. I bought a 2003 K2500HD & tried to use the brake controller & harness from my 2002 K2500. Plugged right and seemed ok but when the headlights were turned on the trailer brakes locked up & released when turned off. Reading out the socket, it was obvious that the vehicles are wired different. Got a 2003 harness from GM (p/n 15085418) and it works good now. New plug is white. 2002 & earlier (last 4 digits of p/n 6884) has a brown plug. So be careful, you may think everthing is fine until it gets dark.
