Mu 16.9x30's have 750 of ca per side. Your going to take out 1500 pounds of ca, and add 400 pounds of iron??????????? It's going to be a huge change!! I've never replaced a rim yet, BUT, i do wash my rims with dish soapy water if i have a flat!! The ca will NOT rust the rims if it doesn't touch them, or you wash it off the rims with soapy water when you have a flat!! Robert
