The Deere and the Kuhn are basically the same machine.( Strangely enough, there has been an article in "Farmers Weekly " about different Mo-co's and they seem to favor the Deere and Kuhn too). Both appear to to have a very good name over here. Mower conditioners are very popular in UK i.e. those with the flail type rotor. The average British farmer would not have a crimper if it came free with a bag of potato chips but that is probably due to the differences in our respective climates. At the risk of repeating myself, sickle mowers 'died a natural death' over here years ago.
