Doug, this is an interesting idea. I had never heard of loading the trailer tires to dampen the harmonics. I am going to try it in my trailer. I have a 20 foot bumper trailer that I built using 3 axles from trailer houses. All three axles have brakes but I get a unbalance condition at certain speeds. Also, the shaking is worse since I added the third axle. Thanks for the idea. I'll keep you posted to see if this helps my situation.
