Hello all, we are looking to replace our 1978 model 1270 Agri King with a newer tractor. The local dealer that we buy most of our equipment and parts from has a 2594 CaseIH for sale. I know the engine is basically the same as the 1270, but I need some feedback on the other systems of the tractor. Mainly on the hydraulics, transmission and electronics as these are the systems differing the most from our tractor. Any problems with these systems that you guys are aware of? The tractor has about 5300hrs on it looks very good, has 2 hyd valves and 20.8-38 clamp on duals. They are asking $16,800 for the unit. Is this a good deal? We have mainly IH and Case tractors on the farm and that's kind of what my dad wants to stick with. I on the other hand am open to any tractor with a good brand history. What do you guys think would be a good choice? The tractor would be used mainly for tillage and also for pulling gravity wagons. We want to have at least 160 hp, a cab and a powershift transmission and spend no more than $20,000. Dual's are a neccessity for our tillage operation. The tractor we are looking at meets all our criteria. Thanks in advance for your info. Have a good one all.

The draft forces are
