A link for your consideration. Also remember that the feds make 18.4 cents per gallon, and most states are making about 20. As a petro retailer myself, I would be VERY pleased to make 18 or 20 cents per gallon. Trust me, there is no one getting fat in this business. Also, while supply and demand certainly drives the market, overreactions and massive price spikes are mostly caused at Wall Street. The oil companies pass along to expense.
