good news all. I went to the muffler shop and guess what they still had my filter. The pimpply faced assistant manager did the old let me see if we still have it routine.he didn't ask me to come see if I could Identify it or any thing just steped around the corner and back with the correct filter in about 15 sconds.gee who would hav guessed.claimed he couldnt refund money but tomorror a real manager will be there with the authority to give me my money back.I'm not through with them yet though I will be contacting the states attorney general and the corprate offices of this chain, apparenty my wife isn't the first woman they've done this to.The woman at the bookstore next door and the woman behind me in line there wern't supprised neither were the girls at tractor supply.Apparently this is SOP for these crooks will post an update in a few days(just so you know it's the chain currently running adds about how their life time exaust system waranty is still good 30years later on the 65 mustang)
