Thanks folks for all the comments. My son said on the way home they had a lay over in Maine and there were so many people at the airport there that had flags and signs and giving them such a welcome there it really made him feel good. Of course they got a good welcome at Ft. Polk but at 3:30 in the morning it was mostly family. My younger son is supposed to leave tomorrow coming home. I will be glad to have him home and looking forward to seeing him this weekend. I also appreciate all the folks that served in the prior wars and conflicts and this one. They have put their life on the line for our freedom.
