Steve's advice is correct. Under light load unleaded gas really won't make much difference. If you are pulling an implement at full throttle, you really need the exhaust valve cushioning that the lead or additive provides. So when you ask "a couple of hours a day", the answer really depends upon how hard you are pushing the engine. The lead/additive makes the exhaust valve seats in the cylinder head last a little longer if the head doesn't have hard seats. I just bought a used head for my Case 148 CID engine. All of the seats are beat to death, and I'm sure that happened long before leaded fuel was phased out. If the engine has a rebuild in its near future, don't worry about additives cause your probably going to need valve seats when you tear it down anyway. Best luck and good tractoring Jeff
