Dude, I know you learned your lesson this time. But, I have to ask... Didnt you think it at all odd,period,that someone was willing to pay $5000 over the asking price for a tractor? Tractors are in every country of the world, thay have no need to purchase one here and have it shipped. I'm not saying this to make you mad, you did the right thing posting what happened so someone else doesnt get clobbered. Unfortunately it is greed(in all of us) that falls for this scam when they offer an extra bonus to you for your troubles. And I'd bet thats what they did,right? Since I have posted things for sale here, I've gotten 3 letters for assistance in getting anywhere from 12-32 million dollars outta Africa, and some God fearin woman wanting to buy what I had for sale. If you get any of these in the future, throw a few good ripe words in and send 'em back. Eventually these scumbags will get the message. Glad you didnt lose any more than you did.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
