Some Ebay buyers and sellers simply are not good communicators. It can be very frustrating. We have experienced much of the same, but with some patience and persistence, almost all transactions work out OK eventually. When you sold the tractor on Ebay, did you list any specific information about picking it up? Many sellers will list specifics such as needing to pick up the item with 30 or 60 days, with penalties if the buyer doesn't. This motivates the buyers to quickly follow through on their commitment.
