OT - lawn mowers

After fighting my Crapsman mower all summer, I'm in the mood to get something different next year. Do any of you use 3 pt. finish mowers? I don't know anyone close that has one. How is the quality of the cut? I sure can't justify $3-4000 for a new Cub or Deere and the others just aren't built to last.

I'd sure like to have a finish mower for my Farmall H, but I will have to convince the wife I really do need it first!!
