If both of these tractors are Deeres, then the HN would probably be the most collectable. They only made a few of these, and if it is a true HN, then you have found a real jewel. The MT would be a more user-friendly tractor. More modern features, more horsepower, cheaper and easier to find parts. As to price, that is subject to the seller and how much people are wanting to pay. If these tractors are a different color, then someone else will have to give you the answer. As was previously stated, get the one that you will get the most enjoyment out of. If you are purchasing something to make a fast buck, or just to say you have a collectable tractor, then you will not enjoy it as much as you would if you purchase one you personally like. Unless you pay an outrageous price for either of these tractors, and they do not need much to get them going, then you will get back what you put into them if you decide to sell. I personally don't look at what I would get back from selling my tractors. If I did, I would be really depressed. Put a bunch of money in the ones I have and know that there is no way to get back even a portion of what I spent. The time spent looking for the right parts, putting it all together and seeing the finished product is payment enough. And if it wasn't enough, the time spent with my son on these projects and the good times we have had will make for some long lasting memories that I will cherish forever. I'll get off of my soapbox now, and let someone else take the floor.
