Like Paul says, it depends on where you are. My farm policy with Allied covers the house, buildings, and small amount of equipment (all told about 160K of property) with a million dollar liability all for about $650 a year in rural Kansas. Nobody else even comes close, two others who would provide the same coverage where almost double when we priced it out two years ago.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
