Gary, Safety is such an important aspect of farming, that I wish YT would have a section and or forum devoted to safety alone. There are things that sometimes we either take for granted or don't think about it until something terrible happens. Believe me, I could write a book ( I may someday) on some of the things I personally have seen, and experienced, from tipping a tractor over, to sickle bar accidents to PTO mishaps, to fires. I've seen way too much, and I think that every time we can share one of these incidents with someone else, we raise the awareness of just how important safety really is.
