Philip, The market value will vary greatly due to the following variables and others. 1.Regional location. 2.Model/serial# (Your tractor is a 601 Workmaster series, the model will be 611, 611D, 611L, 621, 621D, 621L,.......681L. For a total of 25 different models.) 3.Hours/condition of the tractor. (New paint on an auction tractor???? Often times auction tractors receive an "Auction paint job", it hides fluid leaks, wear points and obvious defects. Such a paint job detractes from the value of tractors for many people) 4.Tires, how much use is left in the tires, are they of use for your intended application?(Turf tires will not do much good for field applications.) The value of the tractor is also dependant on whether I'm buying or selling. The attached link will provide the information you need to identify your tractor by model and serial number. Once you find these numbers write them down you will need them when asking for technical assistance and/or parts. It will also provide further information as to tranny, engine, hydraulics, PTO, ETC..... When you find more information you may want to post back for more assistance. Check out this forum: http://www.ytmag.com/ford/wwwboard1.html I hope I've been able to help, welcome to the world of Ford. Ilook foreward to seeing you post on the Ford Forum. ATW/WA
