That is good news, in that it is not a cancerous mass or other such illness! All those that prayed for a miracle from the Hand of God, should now give praise to the Lord God for His answer. I know that an infection is nothing to praise, but weighed against the alternative, it could have been much worse. My prayers are still for a speedy recovery for your wife and a blessed, long life for both of you. I believe that you can praise God for a Good Year, John! Let us know when she is up and around, and feeling healthy again. (and just a thought... share this forum with her and let her read about all the prayers that have been offered for her, if you have not already!) God Bless and Keep you and your family!
